March Update 2025

Lent is now upon us.  A time to seek ways of making more time to spend with God.  The ‘40 days’ symbolise the time Jesus spent in the wilderness before beginning his ministry.  Whatever the distractions were in his life, by being away from them he was gifted the space to breathe and to pray, to ponder on what was and to seek what may be.  Lives can get very full.  Let’s us find ways (be it 5 minutes or 5 hours) to put the distractions down and spend that time with the God who is always with us -  Matthew 28 v20

Lent Course….Growing on the Frontline.

Growing on the Frontline | Trailer | LICC

We have a great start with this course and around ten people have signed up across the 3 sessions.  The dates below are accurate (we made a few tweaks). If you are signing up it would be great to complete all 8 but there’s no ‘test’ at the end & I’m very likely to run the course again from time to time.  Anyone is still able to come and try….but probably best to let me know

(Any problems logging in give me a phone call)……sorry if this option clashes with Call the Midwife or something!!

There are books provided for the course and you’ll possibly need a notebook and your Bible.  If you could let me know if and where you are hoping to attend that would be helpful.  Thanks

For anyone who struggles with knowing what to pray I’m setting out below some simple 1 minute prayers for every day of February.  Please feel free to use this for a few minutes each day.  Let us live more nearly as we pray.  It isn’t perfect, you may have your own systems for daily prayer …but for anyone who needs a prompt)
